Every year before Chinese New Year, it is custom for us Chinese people to have a dinner to celebrate the end of the year. Lou Sang and Buddha Jumping over Wall is a must to celebrate a prosperous year. My pre CNY dinner celebration dinner started early this year with a Sony friend reunion at Jumbo Restaurant at Serdang.
Recently, my breakfast during weekends is Fried Steamed Sang Mee. There is great old restaurant in Seri Kembangan that served great Fried Steamed Sang Mee for breakfast. This restaurant has been around for the last 30 years in Serdang.
On the 24th of October 09, my sister held her baby Ivan’s first birthday part at Restaurant Lek Lek in Seri Kembangan. There were 2 tables for families and friends to join. This restaurant is opened about 1 year ago. This shop is another of the many restaurants in Serdang that started from home-based restaurant to a shop house restaurant.
Serdang is quite famous for its Yong Tau Fu restaurant such as Leong Ya that is located near the Mines Shopping Center. However, most of the Yong Tau Fu in Serdang is sauce based (that means it eaten together with sweet black sauce). There is currently a Puchong Yong Tau Fu outlet in Seri Kembangan, Serdang. This Yong Tau Fu shop is famous in puchong for its big, cheap, fresh, and tasty Soup type Yong Tau Fu. You can refer to Puchong's review from Vkeong's Blog.
This outlet is bigger, newer, and has air-cond. The food is roughly the same taste as the puchong branch. However, i still think that Puchong branch is cheaper as it is not located in a shop house.
